Here’s What We Have Coming Up…

Volunteer Opportunities

A core base of active volunteers helps William Way’s small staff plan and facilitate programs and services throughout the year.

This has included projects such as building cleanups, painting, gardening, and moving collections. Whether you’re a first-time volunteer or a seasoned changemaker, joining a project is now easier than ever.

Step 1: Create Your Volunteer Profile

Step 2: Find a Project That Speaks to You

From park clean-ups to food banks to fun with furry friends, we proudly serve a wide range of causes.

We officially recognise these organisations as Allies.

Allies are invited to our meetings and events and are kept informed of our policies but are completely independent of Pink Alliance. Mentors can be either from the LGBTQ community or allies, while all mentees are from the LGBTQ community.

HAPPY HOUR THE AFTERMATH

This month we head to '"The Aftermath"'

Tue 16 Sep 2025, 7-10PM

Venue: The Aftermath

Lower G/F, Sunny Building, 57-59 Wyndham Street, Central

Free admission.

Our mentorship program aims to help current university students in Hong Kong to gain insight on successfully navigating and operating in the workforce as a member of the LGBTQ community. Add your name to our Volunteer Mailing List to learn about opportunities as they arise.

Regular shifts

The Center relies on volunteers who show up for weekly shifts and monthly planning meetings.

Mentors are current professionals and aim to meet with their mentees several times over the course of the academic year.

Ready to Make a Difference?

Pink Alliance enjoys association with a number of other organisations that have similar values and objectives to ours.

They are involved in many of our activities, and, in turn, Pink Alliance supports them in carrying out their own activities.

Please reach out to express interest in volunteering with the Archives/Library, Arts Committee, Board Committees, and Peer Counseling.

Corporate and affinity group projects

Corporate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Pride Associations, and other affinity groups sometimes assist with improvement projects around the Center.

Not only is this a great way to invest a set amount of time with us, but you’ll meet new people who share similar interests. There are a few ways to volunteer depending on your availability, interests, and talents.

One-time or as-needed

This volunteer opportunity is ideal for someone who may have limited time and a changing schedule.
